Constitution guarantees no right for power succession: prof. Al Mariam
Professor Alemayehu Gebre Mariam tells Tizita Belachew
of VOA that the Ethiopian consitution doesn't guarantee the transfer of
power in the event of the death of the prime minister. He said in fact
the deputy prime minister, who is expected to automatically replace the
deceased pm, is only accountable to the PM, and doesn't have any
clearcut succession rights.
